Who We Are
The Booking Department is responsible for inmate admission and processing, orientation, and release. The Classification Department is responsible for ensuring that each offender is screened for risk and needs for the purpose of determining appropriate housing, supervision requirements, and determining needs for immediate medical care or other services. Our professionally trained staff work diligently to ensure that proper protocols, procedures are followed. As well as striving to ensure the safety and security of the offenders and correctional staff by conducting comprehensive offender assessments.
Nikki began with Marion County Detention Center in 2012 as a floor deputy. In 2015 she was transferred to booking where she excelled in her profession. She earned her bachelor's in Criminal Justice at the University of the Cumberland’s and Nikki became a SAP Counselor in 2021. In May 2024 Nikki transferred to the Court Liaison position. She lives in Lebanon with her best friend and husband Chad. She has two children and is the daughter of Allan Sapp.

Nate grew up in York County, South Carolina, and now resides in Lebanon, KY. He has a background in substance-use treatment and peer support, whre he worked with individuals seeking recovery, stability, and positive change. Nate started Marion County Detention Center as a Booking Officer In January of 2025, and currently serves as the Security Clerk. He is pursuing a degree i social work with the goal of becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Nate is committed to using his experience and education to support individuals, promote rehabilitation, and serve the community.
