Ashley is a 2001 graduate of Marion County High School and earned career diplomas in both Business Management and Bookkeeping. She started at Marion Couny Detention Center in November 2024. She lives in Lebanon and has two children.

Jessica Wechter, Inmate Accounts & Canteen Clerk

Jessica began her career in corrections in May 2013 at Marion Adjustment Center until they closed in Sept 2013. She started at Marion County Detention Center in June 2013 in Medical with Conmed/Correct Care Solutions. In Jan 2019, when MCDC took over its own Medical, she became a Deputy Jailer and in November 2024 she transferred to Canteen as the Canteen and Inmate accounts clerk.
Ruthie was hired at Marion County Detention Center in 2000 as a Correctional Deputy, through dedication and professionalism she worked her way up to being promoted to Shift Lieutenant. Ruthie left her employment with MCDC for a short time to pursue other interests. Upon her return in 2012 she was hired as a Canteen Clerk, where she has excelled in profit growth for the inmate canteen account. She has implemented several profitable canteen options for the inmates to include Candy Cart and Food Tickets. Ruthie is a resident of Nelson Co., she cares for her mother who lives with her and has one daughter and two grandchildren.
